Our Brine & Water business based in Northwich, Cheshire is growing through major investment to support expansion of our key customers and new activities, for example gas storage.

We are the number one producer of sulphur chemicals in the UK from our plant at Runcorn, Cheshire, and have expanded our product range and market penetration outside the UK by acquisition and major investment in new manufacturing capability.

Through our Salt Business, also at Runcorn, Cheshire, we are the leading supplier of vacuum salt products for industrial and domestic applications such as food

INEOS Enterprises is the world's largest producer of synthetic ethanol, with over 300,000 tonnes produced at our plant at Grangemouth, Scotland.

Our latest acquisition at Saltend, Hull, produces a range of vinyl acetate monomer blends for use in a variety of applications from paints and textiles production through to safety glass for cars and buildings.

France

Our Biodiesel Business at Baleycourt, France is growing rapidly and is underpinned by significant capital investment in a dedicated biodiesel plant at the site. Biodiesel is fast becoming the leading green replacement for conventional fuel oils. Also at Baleycourt we manufacture a leading range of esters, focussing on the plasticiser market.

Germany

At our site in Cologne, Germany, we operate a large scale ammonia facility that produces essential raw materials for the manufacture of fertilisers, explosives and polymers.

Thailand

At Bangpoo, Thailand, we manufacture our leading range of CERECLOR plasticisers, along with hydraulic fluids and automotive coolants. .
