18 February 2008 INEOS ENTERPRISES PROVIDES LOCAL FOOTBALL TEAM WITH A BOOSTRuncorn based chemical company INEOS Enterprises has purchased a brand new football kit for one of its local football teams in Halton, Heath Rangers JFC Under 10s. The Company provided a donation of £300 to buy the new football strip. The Club's old kit had seen better days and they were in desperate need of a replacement. As the team draws youngsters from the local area and trains at Runcorn Heath, which is close to the Company's chemical site in Weston Point, INEOS Enterprises was the obvious choice to help out. In addition, the team has close links with INEOS as a number of the parents work for the Company. The Heath Rangers team competes against other local teams in the area and has been extremely successful winning its league for the last two consecutive seasons. Team Manager, John Dursley, said: We are really pleased that INEOS Enterprises has been able to sponsor our new kit and the kids are over the moon with it. A kit can really make a difference to a teams morale and it also helps demonstrate that the team is well supported by all aspects of the community. The support INEOS Enterprises has provided ensures the team looks as good as they play! Janet
Ward, INEOS Enterprises Community Relations Manager, said: We
are thrilled to be able to help Heath Rangers JFC with its new
kit, and they even have our logo printed proudly on the front.
This sponsorship is particularly important as it is a great
way of building relationships with local people, both adults
and children, who live right next door to us so this
is just brilliant! ENDS For further information please contact the INEOS Enterprises Press Office: Janet
